Where to stay in Kota Kinabalu?

Standard

We stayed at Bunibon Lodge. They have a cheaper rate than the famous borneo backpackers and the rest of the hostels I saw online. We stayed in an Air conditioned room with a double decker bed. There is Wifi and breakfast is for free. You just have to prepare your own toast and coffee and egg at the Pantry. The Dining Room is an elevated wooden structure where people can actually mingle with each other. There are books and a vintage Globe at a corner.

I totally recommend this lodge for anyone who plans to KK soon. The staff are so hospitable, not to mention they have this 24 hour reception service. They also helped us with some information regarding our next trip after KK ( something I just thought about when we are about to leave for our flight back to Manila). The Lodge has Cable Tv , Free Wifi, Free use of Washing Machine, Towels and linen are provided and are clean.  And by the way, they also have car/motorcycle rentals and tour packages.

They Charged us 65 RM (888 pesos or 20USD ) nightly for a Private Bunk with no attached Toilet. The price is very much reasonable for a Clean room, AC equipped, Fresh Mattresses, Free breakfast and Excellent quality service.

The staff are so friendly just like Pinoys, not to mention one lady staff who is actually a Filipina. They even helped us with our plans of traveling to Brunei via Bus. They printed some stuff for us without us paying them. Ah, I miss those people.

Before I could be that emotional, Just promise me you will stay at Bunibon when You find yourself in the City of Kota kinabalu. Yeah? =D
