When Andy Warhol Exhibition happened in Singapore a Year ago, I wasn’t able to make it due to time constraints. They had it at Singapore arts and Science Museum and I know I missed one big event of my life. When I went to Bangkok last February I wasn’t expecting Siam Center can give me a taste of what a Warhol exhibit could have been. I know it is a far cry from the real deal but heck I loved the gallery!

I am not a fan of malling, But being in Siam Center and just looking at each concept stores makes me just want to stay there forever. Store Owners invested millions to create unique and eye candy stores. The Four-story structure is divided by floors and each floors have its own concept. Ground Floor has the globally famous brands like Forever 21. Second floor constitutes mainly of International Brands of apparels, cosmetics and accessories. Third Level has all the Thai or their local brands. Their stores will be usually made of wood, copper and steel. Fourth level will be the Food Factory where you can tickle your palate with both their local cuisine and International Menu. They have Their Food court and scattered restaurants.
Browsing at Forever 21. No Folks, I am not a fan. I am just plain curious.
For a 40 year old shopping arena, Siam Center undergone a lot of renovations until now. They have created this Ideaopolis as they say it and made a perfect collection of their finest local brands and Internationally acclaimed brands to cater their shoppers’ diverse tastes. The Lifestyle center mixed ideas, art, fashion and technology to better enhance shopping experience.
Via BTS, alight at Siam Station. Actually this is the epicenter of Bangkok Lifestyle, so when you go down Siam Station you will be greeted by shopping mall strips and other places of interest. When you are done with your shopping spree at Siam Center or any other Malls, you might want to visit Siam Ocean world or the Madame Tussauds Museum.
Siam Center boasts its exquisitely designed concept stores, from apparel-selling shops to even its cafe and restaurants. So, even if you are not a shopping fan like me, You will enjoy strolling the center and just looking around. They Have more food choices and cheaper prices than Paragon and not as packed as well. The fourth level has the Food Factory which offers a lot of choices for everyone. If you would want to go out the Mall, surely you will find lots of places to eat round Siam.
Shopping is the best thing to do while you are in Bangkok. The City is filled with lots of malls, not just in Siam. You can find malls carrying the luxury brands down to the cheap finds and even thrifted items around the city.
I wish I was a fan of KPop, coz If I was I know i would be crazy seeing Super Junior perform just infront of Siam station. Why are they so damn popular?
Why is Magnum that popular and expensive? please explain in not more than 3 letters.
This is the only mall we went to when we were in Siam. Good thing coz by far this is the best mall I went to in Asia.
